Ways to Get to Wengen

Our Chalets and Apartments are located in the picturesque village of Wengen in the heart of the Jungfrau region of the Bernese Oberland in the Swiss Alps.

The area is world famous for the Wengen Lauberhorn World Cup Downhill Race held in January each year and the fearsome North face of the Eiger Mountain, famous for being one of the world’s most difficult climbs

Wengen is the ideal location for skiers of all abilities with both the Mannlichen Cable Car and train to Kleine Scheidegg in the centre of Wengen village, there is also Inner Wengen chairlift at the Lauberhorn world cup finish area.

With a variety of slopes and terrain suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities from novice to expert including runs used for World Championship Downhill and Slalom there is no better place to enjoy your winter break.

The town of Wengen is situated close to Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, where you park and then get the local train up to the car free village of Wengen, is 80km from Bern, 130km from Zurich and 170km from Geneva.

Getting to Wengen

Air: The local airport of Bern is less than 1 hour by car or 1 ½ hrs by train links.

Basel/Mulhouse Airport is approx 1 ¾ hour by car or 2 ½ hrs by train links.
Zurich Airport is approx 2 hours by car or 2 ½ hrs by train links.
Genava Airport is approx 2 ¾ hour by car or 3 hrs by train links.

Rail: From Paris to Wengen 12 hours

Road: From Calais to Lauterbrunnen is 540 miles and takes approximately 8 hours
